At Globaloria we believe that designing and coding games is a fun and powerful way to learn computer science and its applications in education. Everyone can think up creative ideas for a computer game, learn to design worlds and characters, write real JavaScript code -- even in just a couple of hours!
In the MakeQuest Science game, you edit JavaScript code to defeat "Supernova" the evil villain. Along the way, you master computer science concepts like variables and functions. Remix game code and expand this full platformer game in the Sandbox to create your own game. Then publish and share it with your friends!
MakeQuest is designed for beginner coders ages 10 and up, or younger kids with adults. Not recommended to play on mobile phones or tablets. Use all modern browsers (Chrome & Firefox preferred) on a Chromebook, PC, or Mac. For parents and teachers we provide a Lesson Plan for using MakeQuest in your home or class. Enjoy playing and learning computer science!
